It has been reported that Newcastle United target Denzel Dumfries has joined a new agency in preparation for a summer transfer.
Back in late January, it was claimed that the Inter Milan right-back’s agent held talks with Eddie Howe’s side over a potential move.
As the summer transfer window edges closer and closer, it seems like Newcastle could pull off a swoop for Denzel Dumfries, who has signed up with a new agency.

The Dutch international burst onto the scene at Euro 2020, where he established his presence as one of Europe’s most exciting wing-backs.
Dumfries, who is reportedly valued at £35 million has not particularly had his finest out of seasons out in Serie A.
But Fabrizio Romano has revealed that Newcastle target Denzel Dumfries is ready for a transfer in the summer after joining forces with a new agency.
“Dutch right-back Denzel Dumfries joins Wasserman agency — he’s expected to look for new club in the summer after links with Chelsea and Man United in July and January.
“Premier League would be his favourite option but the race is open, nothing is concrete yet”, he tweeted.
Brilliant Kieran Trippier backup
Considering the weight the 26-year-old’s name carries, some may wonder why we only see him as a backup to Kieran Trippier.
As exciting as it must be for Newcastle fans that Denzel Dumfries is insistent on a transfer as can seen by his decision to do business with a new agency, he is well and truly a right wing-back.
While Dumfries offers plenty going forward, his lack of technical security can be a real deterrent to his displays, while defensively, he has a lot of room to improve.
Taking into consideration just how well-rounded Trippier’s game is, his potential signing should viewed as one where a brilliant backup and not a spectacular upgrade on the club captain could be coming in.
