Eddie Howe’s Newcastle United could sell Allan Saint-Maximin in the summer transfer window amid interest from Tottenham Hotspur.
Newcastle could sell Tottenham Hotspur target Allan Saint-Maximin
90min have reported that Newcastle are “increasingly likely” to sell the French winger at the end of the season.
The Magpies have reportedly identified Marcus Thuram as the replacement for 26-year-old winger, described as “unplayable” by former Everton manager Frank Lampard in Pundit Arena in February 2022.
And this will come as good news for Tottenham, who have been linked with Saint-Maximin.
According to the Sunday People (19/2; pg 62), Tottenham have been following the winger for a while and could make a move for the Newcastle player in the summer transfer window.
HITC Verdict: Summer transfer could happen
In our view, Tottenham Hotspur could be able to sign Allan Saint-Maximin from Premier League rivals Newcastle United in the summer transfer window.
If the Magpies are willing to sell the winger and are already looking at potential replacements, then it seems that manager Eddie Howe is planning for life without the Frenchman.
So, if Tottenham come up with a decent offer, then they could be able to bring Saint-Maximin to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
