AC Milan striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic has had his say on the infamous rant from Antonio Conte about all things Tottenham Hotspur.

The £218,000-a-week man blasted Spurs’ culture as a club, the players, the ownership and virtually every aspect after their 3-3 draw against Southampton.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who is known to never mince his words has now given his take on where he stands on the Antonio Conte rant about Tottenham Hotspur.

Ibrahimovic chimes in on Conte rant debate about Tottenham

There is a debate surrounding Conte’s outburst as many believe he was saying it as it is and ultimately, it would be harsh to call him out on pure, unadulterated truth.

Another school of thought is that the fiery ex-Chelsea manager is trying to run scot-free from any criticism, when he is also to blame for the mess the club find themselves in.

As the debate rages on, Zlatan Ibrahimovic has given his view on the Antonio Conte rant about Tottenham and how he reacted to it.

“I mean, every single person works in his own way. Some try to be an actor and pretend, some try to be themselves, some try to be perfect. I believe in being yourself, and sometimes you pay for it because that’s not what the people want to hear, but I prefer to be myself and express myself and think in the way I want, we all work in our own way”, he told Sky Sports.

Unsurprising view from Ibrahimovic

Considering Ibrahimovic has always been one of the most outspoken footballers in the game, one could have foreseen him not to see much wrong with the Conte rant about Tottenham.

The legendary goalscorer has often criticised managers and fellow teammates as he never shies from speaking his mind.

As a result, he may well empathise with Antonio Conte in some ways.
