Jake Paul is not holding back on his thoughts about the recent match between KSI and Joe Fournier as he called out the YouTuber on social media.
KSI and Joe Fournier‘s match ended up with the YouTuber taking home the win. However, it was met with contradicting views on social media.
While some fans applauded the Sidemen‘s co-founder’s win, others, like Jake Paul, questioned it.
Jake Paul calls out KSI
Jake did not hold back on his thoughts when KSI won as he thought it was not a fair match. As soon as the event was over he took to Twitter to express himself.
He wrote: “I respect boxing too much to respect what that was. If that was indeed a real boxing match it will be ruled a no contest or disqualification.” He also shared a snippet from the match which showed Joe falling to the ground due to KSI’s punch.
KSI even defended his win but Jake did not seem to agree with it.
He further added: “Why you lying still? No part of your glove made contact with Joe’s face on that elbow. That was not a hook. That was straight up a right elbow to the jawbone. Good form but wrong sport. Your whole promotion is sham. Bad look for the sport of boxing. Your “commission” PBA should hold itself to a higher standard. I hope England Boxing starts to oversee this product and makes it safer for everyone.”
What KSI had said
While Jake thought KSI was lying, the YouTuber did try to explain what really happened as he defended his win.
He said: “After landing my overhand he was pretty much out on his feet and I went for a short right hook as Joe clinched me and fell into me. I landed that hook and my glove made contact but appears to have been followed by unintentional contact with my forearm. I’m gutted that it’s not as clean a win as I wanted and it feels like it diminishes my hard work with my trainers.”
KSI did note that these allegations did not make him feel good about the win as he said: “I worked very hard for this fight and had an intense and grueling camp. There’s no better feeling than being in that ring and having my hand raised in front of my loyal and amazing fans who I appreciate so much. Unfortunately, the victory which was inevitable no matter what, is tarnished and I hate that. It sucks!”

There could be a Tommy Fury match
After the match came to an end KSI hinted that there could be a Tommy Fury match next.
KSI has been wanting to go against Tommy ever since he fought with Jake Paul and won. While there has been no official announcement so far, fans have been hoping that this could be made into reality.
