Leeds United have been relegated from the Premier League after losing to Tottenham Hotspur at Elland Road on Sunday.
Sam Allarydyce’s Leeds United side have suffered a 4-1 hammering at the hands of Tottenham Hotspur at home on the final day of the Premier League season.
The West Yorkshire club have ended the campaign second from bottom in the standings with 31 points from 38 matches.
Southampton have finished bottom, while Leicester City have also been relegated to the Championship.
Former Leeds duo Michael Bridges and Luciano Becchio have sent messages on Twitter to support to the Whites.
Becchio wrote: “We will be back! This is Leeds Amazing fans, always marching on together”
Bridges wrote: “We will bounce back stronger #leedsunitedfamily #MOT“
Hugely disappointing for Leeds United
Leeds United are one of the biggest clubs in England and were a joy to watch when Marcelo Bielsa was in charge of the first team.
Things have really dipped since Bielsa was relieved of his duties.
And now Leeds will have to start all over again.
The Whites were in the Championship for years, and now they will have to work extremely hard to get back up.
It will not be easy.
The Championship is a hugely competitive domestic league, and we believe that Leeds will have to be very smart in the summer transfer window.
