The great ‘Chicken War’ is brewing on TikTok in 2023 and users couldn’t have been more invested in the drama surrounding it that’s unfolding on the platform with each passing hour.

In what could be called the most harmless war of all time, chickens and their owners are taking pride in flaunting their fighting skills, although virtually.

What is the ‘Chicken Wars’ on TikTok in 2023?

It all started with one content creator filming himself walking while being followed by an army of chickens, as he warns they are on their way to “kick some a**”.

In no time, the original clip went viral, prompting more chicken owners to respond, while showing the flocks they have raised and how capable they are as an army.

Soon, TikTok was flooded with clips featuring flocks of chicken from different parts of the country as their owners flaunted their preparation for the ultimate war, which may never really happen considering we are only discussing an interesting virtual trend here.

People are nevertheless excited about showing the chickens they’ve raised- in terms of their size or “power”.

No animals were harmed in doing the trend

Naturally, there is some skepticism associated with the Chicken War, just like any other trend related to animals and how they are being treated in the process.

However, the challenge in question is absolutely safe for both chicken and their owners as a real fight will never ensue, and the hypothetical wars are being discussed only for fun.

Most of the participants are either seen walking with the flock or holding a chicken, which according to them is the alpha or the strongest.

Despite its name, a trend also reflects the participant’s ego; in the sense, it’s more about one human teasing the other to be in a fight, to prove they can’t be beaten.

People can’t get enough of the viral challenge

The great Chicken War is all social media users are deeply invested in, irrespective of the platform. For instance, Twitter is filled with the most interesting reactions to the trend.

One Tweeted: “TikTok is a magical place. Don’t believe me? Check out the Chicken Wars.”

“How have I ended up on the Chicken Wars side of TikTok?” asked another.

A third user wrote: “The Great Chicken Wars 2023 on Tiktok is getting spicy, and I’m here for it.”

“In case none of you have been following, and you should, “The Great Chicken Wars” is trending on TikTok. I’m off to catch up on the latest news from the front!,” read one Tweet.
