Elon Musk is getting slammed online after his recent Taylor Swift tweet where he shared the infamous meme about the singer’s resemblance to Napoleon Dynamite.
Taylor Swift fans are not happy with the recent tweet made by Elon Musk where he shared a meme about the singer.
It did not take long for the Swifties to come after the Tesla owner as Twitter was quick to flood with comments that called Elon out.
Elon Musk’s Taylor Swift tweet explored
On June 9, in a now-deleted tweet, Elon took to Twitter and posted a meme that spoke about the singer looking like Napoleon Dynamite in drag.
Accompanying the meme, Elon wrote: “Am TS Fan – Of course – but how do we know for sure they’re different people?”
He was quick to delete the tweet but it did not stop social media users from slamming him on the internet.
One fan wrote: “Oh no look another person coming for Taylor when she’s literally just existing…leave her alone for god’s sake!”
Another comment read: “Stay away from her.” “He should’ve bought Facebook that’s his type of humor,” wrote one more.
“I don’t think a fan would say that,” another user pointed out. “I’m glad he stepped down from Twitter,” wrote one more.
Taylor has been focusing on her Eras tour
While people on the internet have been defending Taylor she is busy performing on the Eras tour. The singer recently made headlines when videos of her calling out a security guard at the event went viral.
This was not the first time Taylor did something for her fans. She even performed a whole concert in the rain to make sure it was a worthwhile event for everyone.
For some of the shows, her ex-boyfriend, Matt Healy, who she started dating after splitting from Joe Alwyn, was also present.
What Elon Musk has been up to
In May, Elon finally confirmed the new CEO of Twitter and welcomed Linda Yaccarino to the team.
At the same time, his brain chip company, Neuralink, celebrated a big win as it finally received the FDA’s approval to run human trials.
As of now, the recruitment for this has not started.
