A TikTok influencer also known as the “peach milkshake girl” has made an inspiring new video centred around her returning to Chick-fil-A to order the creamy, sugary drink.
Kat Stickler, AKA “peach milkshake girl” went viral thanks to a video filmed with her husband showing off her love of the drink. Now, two years after their divorce, she has returned to drinking peach milkshakes on TikTok and has used it as a symbol of her growth in a new video.
Who is the ‘peach milkshake girl’ on TikTok?
The “peach milkshake” girl is a TikTokker called Kat Stickler. It all started in January 2021, when she posted a video filmed by her partner, Mike, on her TikTok page.
In the video, Mike surprises her by saying they would be going shopping and that he had sorted someone to take care of their baby.
He reels of all her favourite things like going to HomeGoods and Target, then getting pedicures and brunch.
Growing increasingly excited, Kat then asks him: “And then?”.
“Whatever you want to do,” he replies. “Chick-fil-A? Go get peach milkshakes?”
Kat reacts in shock and begins to run cheering into the next room. The video racked up just under half a million views and was filled with comments discussing her husband’s wonderful surprise day and Kat’s sweet reaction to getting a peach milkshake.
When did the ‘peach milkshake girl’ split from her husband?
Kat and her husband split in 2021 a couple of months after the video, and she has been open about the difficulties of this on social media.
On March 18, 2021, Kat posted a video on her TikTok page with Mike, where they confirmed the rumours that they were separating. They asked fans to respect their privacy while they “navigate” the process.
In a video on August 4 that year answering frequently asked questions, Kat said that she was “100%” happier now following the divorce. However, the influencer said that the hardest part of the divorce was not being with her children all the time due to joint custody.
Kat returns to Chick-fil-A to get a milkshake in emotional video
Over two years later, in June 2023, Kat shared a video of her going to a Chick-fil-A drive-through and ordering a peach milkshake. The caption read: “It’s not just a milkshake.”
In the video, the worker asks her: “Are you the peach milkshake girl?” to which Kat replies with a “yep!”.
“I feel happy, I thought I’d cry or something,” Kat says after taking the first sip of the drink.
Referring to the first peach milkshake video with Mike from 2021, Kat says: “If you know you know…”
She then states that the milkshake tastes “like success, growth, sweat, tears”, and yells: “Same milkshake different girl!”.
Kat ends the video by telling followers: “This is a PSA that one, peach milkshakes are back at Chick-fil-A, and two, just because something meant something different at one time in your life, doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy it at a different time in your life.”
