There are plenty of graphics and hypotheses to explain the horror OceanGate’s vessel met with, but the grim animated video of the Titan sub by the YouTube channel AiTelly details its complete journey until the implosion using 4K, 3D engineering visuals, which will send chills down your spine.

The YouTube channel’s graphical representation of the Titanic submarine has garnered millions of views, as it navigates its journey from the start until it imploded, causing the instant death of all its passengers. The video even depicts the placement of the submarine’s debris away from the Titanic after it suffered a catastrophic implosion.

AiTelly’s animated video of Titan sub’s implosion

If you’re yet to watch the educational video on the Titan implosion that some find “grim”, head to AiTelly’s official YouTube channel famous for its 4K, 3D engineering animations. The animation shared on July 1 has clocked over 9.5 million views, at the time of writing.

The six minutes 20 seconds clip navigates the submarine’s journey from the very beginning, following its descent and the operations conducted by the pilot using a controller from within the vessel.

Before detailing the interiors and the exterior of the Titan, which was made of a carbon hull that’s more susceptible to damage, the video predicts why the implosion occurred and what could have possibly caused it.

As the Titanic rests at the depth of the ocean where the pressure of water is 400 times more than on the surface, the vessel imploded when the hull made of carbon composite gave up.

The instant change of pressure within milliseconds would cause the submarine to crush inwards like a soda can, barely giving the passengers any time to process what was unfolding.

AiTelly’s video further details the interiors of the sub, showing the seating arrangement and a toilet on the side, which was separated by just a curtain from the rest of the submarine’s body.

It even places an animated person beside the Titan, drawing a comparison to depict the small dimensions of the vessel.

The oxygen system is predicted to have been placed at the back of the submarine along with the rest of the electrical equipment.

The video establishes in the beginning what could have caused the violent implosion. It goes on to explain the mechanics of the vessel and the specific features of the Titan that are different from its counterparts.

The video concludes by showing the debris of the submarine found just 1600 feet away from Titanic’s wreckage site.

Video lauded for being ‘informative’

The video imagining the last moments of the Titan and its implosion has terrified a few social media users, but others have found it to be extremely informative.

One wrote in the comments under the video: “You guys really hit gold with this one. But in all seriousness, It’s very informative so thank you.”

“I have to say it’s pretty amazing that you can put these 3D animations together this quickly,” said another.

A third person said: “Excellent job. This is the best recreation of how the implosion happened”

“Congrats on the huge views! This was a well-laid-out and thoughtful video. You deserve the vitality!” read another comment.
