Alix Earle reveals details on her dad Thomas Earle’s “very public affair” with an alleged former call girl named Ashley Dupré while talking to host Alexandra Cooper on Call Her Daddy.
The TikTok star opened up on the advice and comedy podcast about her family situation, announcing that a part of her “life had been a lie” and explaining how the drama impacted her in her later years growing up.

Social media personality Alix Earle recently appeared on the series four premiere of advice and comedy podcast Call Her Daddy and opened up to host Alexandra Cooper about issues within her family.
The TikTok celebrity‘s father, Thomas “TJ” Earle, owns a successful construction business and was married to Alisa Earle before their divorce.
Thomas “TJ” Earle then met and embarked on an affair with an alleged former call girl named Ashley Dupré before later marrying her and making her Alix Earle’s stepmother.
Ashley Rae Maika DiPietro, better known by the stage name Ashley Alexandra Dupré, is a former call girl who gained fame in 2008 for her role in a prostitution scandal with Former Governor of New York Eliot Spitzer.
Dupré was involved in further controversy when it was revealed she had an affair with Thomas “TJ” Earle, Alix Earle’s father, who was still married to his ex-wife at the time.
Alix’s dad later divorced his former spouse and went on to propose to Ashley Dupré in 2012, as per Daily Mail reports.
Despite there being no bad blood between the family, Alix Earle explained to Alex Cooper that this has not always been the case.
During the podcast episode, Alex Cooper asks Earle to revisit the moment in second grade at school when her life was essentially flipped upside down.
Alix explained that she remembers the day very clearly when paparazzi had shown up at her house and the children were made to live elsewhere for a short time, revealing:
“My dad had an affair with someone who was well known for her job, having sexual relations with high-class people, and one of them was even the Governor of New York.”

On the podcast episode released on 20 September 2023, Alix Earle described Ashley Dupré with the following statement:
“She was very well known from that and in turn my dad’s affair became a very public situation.”
A year after the affair took place, Alix Earle’s parents explained that they were going to be living apart and
Alix Earle had no idea about the reason for her parents’ separation until fourth grade when she used her iPad to Google search her family – realizing that the scandal was getting media coverage and announced:
“The past two years of my life had been a lie.”
The TikTok star revealed that the times when her dad would take her for ice cream were really because paparazzi were crowded outside their family house.
Ever since the drama, the ‘blended family’ is now often shown getting along well together.

TikTok star reveals how the family drama impacted her life
22-year-old Alix Earle, who recently graduated from the University of Miami in 2023, quickly became one of the fastest-growing creators on TikTok.
The social media star elaborated on how much the family drama impacted her life growing up, revealing that the issues were well-known in her area:
“Anyone living locally in my town kind of knew who she was and knew the situation that had happened.”
When describing humiliating situations at school, Earle explained that “it’s embarrassing, but I’m stubborn” and she therefore made it seem as though she was unphased by the situation.
Within the past year, Alix Earle suggests that she has realized:
“I put a wall up and never allow myself to be 100 percent committed and vulnerable because I am so afraid of getting hurt.”
Along with her own reflections, the creator points out that her “parents are just humans as well.”
The influencer finally reveals that although she may post things on social media showing the “blended family” getting along well, using the example of TikTok dance videos, she highlights that things aren’t always perfect”, stating:
“You don’t even know the half of it.”
