Tottenham Hotspur have scouted Red Bull Salzburg defender Strahinja Pavlovic ahead of the January transfer window.
Red Bull Salzburg ace Strahinja Pavlovic appears to be the latest defender on Tottenham Hotspur’s transfer radar.
That is according to 90Min, who claim that Tottenham scouted Pavlovic during a recent trip to Austria.
Tottenham are without both Cristian Romero and Micky van de Ven right now, exposing the lack of centre back options.
Spurs will surely look to add defensive depth in January and Pavlovic is now thought to be one target.

90Min have claimed that Tottenham scouted Pavlovic in action for Red Bull Salzburg last weekend.
Pavlovic played the full 90 minutes as Salzburg beat WSG Tirol 2-0 away from home.
The Serbian is a mainstay of the Salzburg side and appears to have caught Tottenham’s eye.
Pavlovic played as a left-sided centre back in that win over WSG Tirol and is a natural left-footer.
That will appeal to Tottenham, who will be looking for natural competition for Van de Ven and have been linked with a move for Bournemouth’s Lloyd Kelly.
Who is Tottenham target Pavlovic?
Pavlovic started in the Partizan ranks over in Belgrade, making 57 first-team appearances before joining Monaco in 2022.
Pavlovic only managed 12 first-team games though and spent time on loan at Cercle Brugge and Basel.
Red Bull Salzburg pounced in 2022 and he has become a key player in Austria whilst racking up 31 Serbia caps.
One notable thing about Pavlovic is that he is a real man-mountain at 6ft 4in tall with serious power in his game.
Former Salzburg sporting director Christoph Freund has previously hailed Pavlovic as ‘extremely versatile, determined and physically strong’, highlighting his strength at the back.
That may be what Tottenham want as competition for Van de Ven, but Salzburg will surely be reluctant to sell the 22-year-old.
