Tottenham Hotspur are interested in signing Norwich City talent Jonathan Rowe with the January transfer window now open.
Tottenham ended 2023 with a home win over Bournemouth and they are now looking to strike in the transfer window.
Genoa defender Radu Dragusin has become a top target for Tottenham and Fabrizio Romano believes that a £26million deal is moving closer.
Tottenham would still like more attacking quality in their ranks though and one Championship talent now appears to be on the radar…
Tottenham Hotspur interested in signing Norwich City’s Jonathan Rowe
The Daily Mail now report that Tottenham have Norwich City wide man Jonathan Rowe on their wish list.
The likes of Roony Bardghji and Samuel Iling-Junior are again mentioned but Rowe is a new name for the Tottenham rumour mill.
Rowe is thought to be a target for Aston Villa too, according to the Mail’s report, meaning Tottenham may face a real battle.
20-year-old Rowe has dazzled this season, hitting 10 goals and two assists in 24 Championship appearances this season.
A product of the Norwich youth ranks, Rowe is enjoying a breakthrough season at Carrow Road and now has his first two caps for the England Under-21’s.
Rowe is shining in the Championship and Tottenham now appear to be keen on the idea of bringing him up to the Premier League.
Canaries boss David Wagner has moved Rowe around this season, deploying down the left and right flanks to great effect.
Hailed as a ‘wow factor’ winger by Norwich youth coach Greg Crane, Rowe seems destined for the Premier League one day.
That day could come this month with Tottenham seemingly weighing up a move for the speedy wide man despite strong interest in Al Ittihad wide man Jota, who worked with Ange Postecoglou at Celtic.
