Newcastle United will draft winger Yankuba Minteh into the first team next season, HITC understands.
Premier League club Newcastle United signed Yankuba Minteh from Danish Superliga club Odense Boldklub in the summer of 2023.
HITC understands that the transfer fee that Newcastle paid for Minteh was just over £5 million. The Magpies immediately sent the winger out on loan to Dutch Eredivisie club Feyenoord.

Sources have told HITC that Newcastle, who are keen on Arsenal goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale, are set to welcome Minteh back at the end of the season and they plan to use him next term.
The Magpies have been keeping close tabs on the 19-year-old winger’s progress at Feyenoord and have been hugely impressed with the progress that he has made for the Dutch club.
HITC has been told that the original plan was likely to see Minteh loaned out for two seasons before being given his chance in England.

However, such has been his form in the Netherlands that Newcastle, who played in the UEFA Champions League this season, are ready to bring him into the first-team fold this summer.
Minteh has made nine starts and nine substitute appearances in the Eredivisie for Feyenoord so far this season. The Gambia international winger has scored six goals and given two assists in those games.
The teenager has also made two starts and two substitute appearances in the UEFA Champions League this campaign, scoring one goal in the process. Minteh has made one start and one substitute appearance in the UEFA Europe League as well.
Feyenoord are second in the Dutch Eredivisie table at the moment with 56 points from 24 matches, 10 points behind leaders PSV.
Meanwhile, Newcastle, who want to sign Conor Gallagher from Chelsea in the summer transfer window, currently find themselves eighth in the Premier League table with 40 points from 27 games.
