Arsenal have picked up another huge victory, beating Brighton and Hove Albion 3-0 at the Amex Stadium as Mikel Arteta’s men turned in a superb performance.

The Gunners drew 0-0 at Manchester City last weekend before coasting past Luton Town with a 2-0 victory in midweek.

Arsenal were back on the road again this evening, travelling down to the South Coast to take on Brighton and Hove Albion.

This was another superb Arsenal display but it took a little while to open the scoring.

Gabriel Jesus went down under a Tariq Lamptey challenge and Bukayo Saka stepped up to confidently fire home the resulting spot kick.

Arsenal accelerated away in the second half with Kai Havertz converting Jorginho’s ball into the box.

Havertz then teed up Leandro Trossard to make it 3-0 against his former club, racing clear as Brighton pushed high to try and find an equaliser.

Three points, another clean sheet and another three points – this was a fine away trip for Arsenal.

Andy Murray hails Arsenal star

Arsenal fans everywhere will be delighted with another victory, especially after seeing Manchester City beat Crystal Palace earlier on Saturday.

Liverpool must now respond against Manchester United on Sunday with Arsenal getting their job done.

The key man for Arsenal in the second half was Havertz, who popped up with a goal and an assist to hand Arsenal the win.

The German arrived at Arsenal with major questions marks but has become a fan favourite this season.

Even tennis star Andy Murray – an Arsenal fan himself – has now taken to social media to hail Havertz.

Murray suggested that Havertz is now one of the top forwards in the Premier League, marvelling at jus how good he has become in North London.

Kai Havertz shining in Arsenal attack

Havertz blew hot and cold during his time at Chelsea, leaving many eyebrows raised across London as Arsenal pounced to sign him.

The 24-year-old has been exceptional of late though, emerging as Arsenal’s first-choice striker.

Havertz has now racked up five goals and four assists in his last nine games for Arsenal across all competitions.

The former Bayer Leverkusen star is certainly repaying Mikel Arteta’s faith in him and there will be many fans eating humble pie over Havertz and his superb form.

Murray certainly loves Havertz and he may well be the man to bring the Premier League title back to Arsenal.
