Aston Villa are waiting to hear what Leeds United midfielder Tyler Adams plans to do this summer.
According to the Daily Mail, several clubs are interested in Tyler Adams, with Aston Villa just one side who are currently lurking in the background.
The same outlet also claims that Chelsea are sniffing around and that the American could be signed for £25m following Leeds’ relegation to the Championship.
Villa have already strengthened their midfield this summer after picking up Youri Tielemans on a free, but it looks like they may not be done there.
Chelsea’s engine room, on the other hand, has taken a massive hit after the departures of N’Golo Kante, Mateo Kovacic and Ruben Loftus-Cheek.
Tyler Adams would be a great signing
While Leeds really struggled last season, Adams was able to impress and was easily one of their better players.
The 24-year-old made 3.7 tackles per Premier League game (WhoScored), which was the highest average in his squad (minimum of five matches played).

He could be a good partner to Tielemans in the middle of the park, covering the Belgian as he gets forward to support attacks with his passing.
Adams is also a leader, something that may appeal to the likes of Unai Emery and Mauricio Pochettino.
His national team manager Gregg Berhalter told The Guardian during the 2022 World Cup that people listen to the USA international, describing him as a “general”.
For £25m, if Emery is looking for a midfielder of Adams’ profile, then it looks like a no-brainer. The only problem could be Chelsea.
It would not be a shock to see them make a move for the Leeds star soon. Again, they have lost quite a few quality players in their engine room this summer and are yet to really replace any of them.

Perry Groves thinks Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal will ‘sell’ striker Folarin Balogun this summer amid interest from Serie A clubs, but he doesn’t think he is worth ‘£50 million’.
The former Arsenal player compared the Hale-End star to Atalanta striker Rasmus Hojlund, who is Manchester United-bound, and how the latter is probably better – Erik ten Hag’s men are set to sign the 20-year-old for £72 million, according to Sky Sports.
Last season, Folarin Balogun netted 21 goals for Stade de Reims in France, but Groves questioned that given the quality of Ligue 1 and how is a lower level than Italian football, as he told talkSPORT.
Back in 2019, Arsenal signed Nicolas Pepe from Lille after his strong goalscoring performances in France. He was the club’s record signing.
But the Ivory Coast star, who wasn’t part of the club’s pre-season tour of America this summer, struggled big time.
“Nketiah did really well when Jesus was injured,” said Groves. “He came in, scored a few goals and his hold-up play was excellent. He probably needs to be a bit more clinical.
“Kai Havertz has signed, so he can play as a false nine. Trossard can play as a false nine. Martinelli can play through the middle as well.
“I think they will sell Balogun. Asking £50 million, I think it’s a little on the steep side. He scored 22 goals in Ligue 1, but how good is that league to judge a centre-forward or someone who scores goals?
“Nicolas Pepe came from Lille and he had scored 22 in his last season before he came to Arsenal. It’s very difficult to judge, what you said about Hojlund for Atalanta. Historically, Italian football is a little bit more defensive and more difficult to score goals in Serie A.
“Comparing those, you would say that Hojlund has a better track record at scoring goals in Serie A because he got ten, didn’t he?! I think £25-30 million is the right price for Balogun.”

Is Balogun heading to Serie A?
After tasting first-team football, it’s understandable if Balogun wants more of the action ahead of the forthcoming campaign and he won’t get that at Arsenal because of who is ahead of him.
Whilst they aren’t the only club in Milan looking at his talents, AC Milan are also exploring, so there is every chance that Balogun plays in the San Siro next season, it’s just a case of for who.

Max Wober says he is leaving Leeds United this summer with a ‘heavy heart’ after only signing for the club in January.
German outfit Borussia Monchengladbach have secured the talents of the 25-year-old on a season-long loan deal, after Leeds United were relegated to the Championship last season and Max Wober claimed on Instagram that ‘it is a necessary step to show myself at the highest level’.
It was only six months ago that Leeds United were paying Red Bull Salzburg £11 million (Sky Sports) for the versatile player.
That’s when Wober was supposed to prove that he was worthy of ‘the highest level’, with the Premier League seen as the biggest test of them all on the domestic stage.
But instead, just like many of his teammates, he was abject and watched the team crumble back to the Championship without any fight.
Wober told the Yorkshire faithful that he will be ‘supporting Leeds no matter what’, well, if he did that, then he would stay on board, wouldn’t he?! Nonetheless, here was his message to supporters.

“I’m telling you with a heavy heart that I’m leaving Leeds United for the coming season on loan,” Wober wrote. “I’m forever grateful for the support you gave me from the minute I set foot on Elland Road. It really means a lot to me.
“I totally understand the disappointment with some of you. But for me, it is a necessary step to show myself at the highest level and to be able to secure a spot in the national team of Austria for the Euros in 2024. I can only wish the club all the best during the time that I’m away. I’ll be supporting you no matter what, wherever I go.”

‘Hang on Sloopy girls’ from The McCoys music video mystery
The McCoys were a rock group formed in Union City, Indiana, United States, in 1962 who are best known for their 1965 hit single “Hang On Sloopy”, which was #1 in the United States in the Billboard Hot 100 chart at the time and is the official rock song of the state of Ohio.
This popular song was reportedly re-released in 1975 on a ‘best-of-Rick Derringer’ album, the lead singer of the band.
To accompany the updated song, a music video was created involving a female dancer with blonde hair, casually dressed, shown walking toward the stage before dancing along to the tune.
The dancer was widely praised for her attractive nature and stylish moves. Over the past decade the ‘Sloopy girl’ video has gone viral, attracting millions of views from all over the world but within it lies an intriguing msytery as fans debate the true identity of the dancer.
Still to this day, fans are reminded of their obsession with the dancing girl – as per a Twitter user shared on social media.
Last night I fell down a rabbit hole of old music and now I'm obsessed with the dancing girl from the "Hang On Sloopy" video. pic.twitter.com/iQ1CaIsuiG
After several years of anonymity, the ‘Sloopy girl’ dancer’s identity is still yet to be entirely confirmed but fans speculate between multiple idividuals.
Fans speculate between Liz Brewer and
Lisa Leonard Dalton
Over 40 years since the music video release, viewers are still hooked on finding the true identity of the dancer and while some believe they may have found the answer, others still consider the topic a mystery.
Within the main theories, one considers the dancer to be Rick Derringer’s wife, another involves TV personality Liz Brewer and an additional theory surrounds the name Lisa Leonard Dalton.
In an interview uploaded via YouTube with presenter, commentator, actress and producer Yvette Rowland, Liz Brewer hints that she may be the woman in the video but does not entirely confirm this statement.
When asked the direct question as to whether she is in the video, Brewer quotes – “Certain things have to keep as a mystery”, “when the time is right it will come out.”
In her Instagram bio, @lizbreweretiquette is described as an author of a book titled ‘The Ultimate Guide to Party Planning & Etiquette’ along with a TV and Radio Social Editor of Knightsbridge Magazine.
“Sloopy Girl” could be Lisa Leonard Dalton, stating various facts surrounding her upbringing, dancer background and more, stating:
“I had fun helping out as the interviewer in this video for my friend “Sloopy Girl” Lisa Leonard Dalton. She was the dancing girl in Rick Derringer’s 1975 film of his remake of the song “Hang On Sloopy.” Her iconic dance from fifty years ago has had more than 40 million views in the past ten years.”
More videos throughout social media, including the TikTok content below, claim that Lisa Leonard Dalton is the Sloopy girl dancer
In a YouTube video interview explaining her identity, Dalton suggests that when she first saw the video in December 2013 she didn’t think to make her identity known. This was until it became clear people were ‘wrongly’ labeling the woman in the video as someone else.
Lisa Leonard Dalton even has a Facebook profile named ‘Lisa Dalton (Sloopy Girl)’, public information states that she studied at Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising, attended El Camino Real High School and is supposeldy single.
Dalton’s YouTube channel bio reads:
“I’m Lisa Leonard Dalton – the authentic “Sloopy Girl” dancer. Yes, that was me, at age 19, dancing in Rick Derringer’s “Hang on Sloopy.” Today we’d call it a music video but nobody had heard that term back in 1975.”
Liz Brewer told
Yvette Rowland that viewers will have to wait until a book is written about the music video experience to ultimately confirm the dancer’s identity, so many fans are staying tuned in future for the dancer to be revealed.

West Ham United are interested in snapping up Stuttgart’s former Arsenal defender Konstantinos Mavropanos.
Ex-Arsenal defender Konstantinos Mavropanos is now being eyed for a return to the Premier League with West Ham United.
That is according to The Sun, who claim that West Ham United and Wolverhampton Wanderers both want Mavropanos.
It’s stated that both clubs want to land a new centre back this summer and Mavropanos is on their wish lists.
The report adds that whilst Newcastle United have looked at Mavropanos, they currently have other options ahead of the Greek star.
Mavropanos was snapped up by Arsenal in 2018 as Sven Mislintat lured him over from PAS Giannina.
The Greek defender – hailed as ‘fearless’ by Ian Wright – only made seven league appearances for Arsenal before being sent on loan to Nurnberg.
Mislintat then took Mavropanos on a two-year loan deal before sealing a permanent deal worth just £3million last summer.
The 25-year-old has been a mainstay for Stuttgart and it’s almost a surprise that Mislintat hasn’t tried to take Mavropanos to his new club Ajax.
West Ham and Wolves are now lurking with Mavropanos potentially fancying a return to England this summer.

Napoli also moving for West Ham United targetKonstantinosMavropanos
West Ham won’t have it all their own way in their pursuit of Mavropanos though.
Not only will David Moyes and co have to take on Wolves and potentially Newcastle, but also Napoli.
Sky Germany reporter Florian Plettenberg claims on Twitter that Italian champions Napoli are ‘pushing’ to sign Mavropanos.

Plettenberg adds that Mavropanos ‘wants to leave’ Stuttgart this season and a deal worth around €20million (£17million).
It’s stated that no verbal agreement is in place yet but Napoli are in talks to land the former Arsenal man.
West Ham’s new technical director Tim Steidten will be well aware of Mavropanos from his time in German football, but this race could be difficult for the Hammers to win.

Robbie Savage says Kylian Mbappe leaving Paris Saint-Germain to join Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool on a loan deal this summer would be ‘unbelievable’ for the English side.
It seems as though PSG have had enough of their star man and they are doing everything they can to get rid of him this summer amid a possible free transfer to Real Madrid next summer.
Everything is open it seems for Kylian Mbappe, but when talk of the France international possibly moving to Liverpool on loan was mooted, Savage stated that he can’t see it happening, as he told 606 on BBC Radio 5 Live Sport.
A one-year loan deal just wouldn’t make sense for anybody, even if he helps you win the European Cup because it’s such a short-term move that will hurt your long-term finances.
That’s probably why Savage can see Mbappe staying at PSG this summer and then moving to Madrid in 12 months.

“Mbappe is being linked with Liverpool on loan,” said Savage. “Really? Do you think that could happen?! Mbappe to Liverpool? Do you think he is better than that?
“For Liverpool, that would be unbelievable. Liverpool aren’t in the Champions League. They are in the Europa League.
“I can’t see it happening. Mbappe would want to play Champions League, minimum.
“He was linked with a move to Saudi Arabia. That didn’t happen. I think he will end up at Real Madrid.”

Mbappe transfer saga
The only winners in this are probably going to be the player himself and Madrid – Chelsea boss, Mauricio Pochettino, who worked with him in Paris, previously dubbed him ‘arrogant’ (The Athletic) for a reason, but in a good way.
At the end of the day, he has a contract, which PSG put on the table for him, so if he honours it, and then leaves for nothing in 12 months, he isn’t doing anything wrong and they only have themselves to blame if they have an issue with it.
PSG created this monster by giving him so much money and power, so reap what you sow.
According to 90min, Chelsea “believe they have won the race for Olise’s signature”.
The former Premier League and UEFA Champions League winners are reportedly confident that they will be able to get a deal done for the 21-year-old, who can operate as an attacking midfielder or as a winger and was described as “outrageous” by Crystal Palace central midfielder Will Hughes, as relayed by Wrexham goalkeeper Ben Foster on his YouTube channel in August 2022.
Michael Olise could flourish at Chelsea
In our opinion, Crystal Palace winger Michael Olise would be a very good signing for Chelsea in the summer transfer window.
The 21-year-old is one of the best young attacking players around and has been superb in the Premier League so far.

Olise has huge potential, and he could grow and develop under Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino.
We know that Pochettino makes young and talented players better.
The Argentine boss was a huge success with youngsters during his time as the Tottenham Hotspur head coach.
Olise made 31 starts and six substitute appearances in the Premier League for Palace last season.
The attacker scored two goals and gave 11 assists in those games.
Olise has made 63 appearances in the Premier League so far in his career.
The France Under-21 international has scored four goals and given 16 assists in those games.
