Before Drake Bell was found safe, the police had reported that he was “considered missing and endangered”, so people are looking for its meaning.
The 36-year-old actor took to Twitter to assure fans he was alright after being found and is reported to be in contact with law enforcement officers. Even though he was missing only for a brief period, the actor became a trending topic on Twitter, with many discussing Drake Bell and Justin Bieber‘s old feud, which is clearly out of context.
Now that the actor is no longer considered an ‘endangered person’, here’s what it means.

Meaning of ‘missing and endangered’ person as Drake Bell is found
A “missing endangered person” is someone who is believed to be in danger due to different factors such as age, health, mental or physical disability, and needs assistance to return to safety.
Typically, when someone is considered missing and endangered, the police issue a notice informing the public that a certain person has gone missing, via different channels including newscasts and social media posts.
The alert is available to law enforcement agencies to investigate the “suspicious disappearance of at-risk missing children or other endangered persons,” according to California Highway Patrol.
The public is advised to call 911 immediately upon spotting the missing person.
He was reported missing
On Thursday, April 13 morning, the Daytona Beach Police posted a report on their Facebook page saying the actor was considered “missing and endangered.”
The police did not provide any other information or explain why Drake was considered an “endangered person.”
However, a few hours later the same day, around 1:26 pm ET, the police reported that the actor was “found safe” and he was in contact with the officials.
The original reports claimed, the actor was last seen traveling in his 2022 gray BMW, and “his last known location is potentially the area of Mainland High School on 4/12/2023 just before 9 p.m.”
The cops asked the public to contact Detective Jayson Wallace should they be aware of the actor’s whereabouts.
Actor laughs about missing reports
Drake took to Twitter to assure fans he was safe and even used the opportunity to laugh about the tension that ensued in the hours he went missing.
Adding a laughing emoji at the end of his tweet, he wrote: “You leave your phone in the car and don’t answer for the night and this?”
The Drake & Josh actor boasts more than 4 million followers on the social media platform, where he actively posts updates about his personal and professional life.
Meanwhile, fans are glad that he has been found and that there’s no danger to his life.
