Former Dutch coach Aad de Mos has said that Orkun Kokcu would make for a smart transfer for both the player and Tottenham Hotspur.
A claim was made in April that Spurs were plotting a move for the 22-year-old central midfielder ahead of the 2023/2024 season.
As Tottenham Hotspur fans wonder whether Orkun Kokcu would be the transfer they need in the summer, Aad de Mos certainly thinks so.

The Feyenoord No.8 is having an impressive season out in Holland, with 12 goals and four assists to his name across all competitions.
One of the Lilywhites’ biggest priorities ahead of the following campaign is to bring in midfielders that can provide an attacking threat.
Orkun Kokcu has shown that in abundance for Arne Slot’s men, as Aad de Mos has broken down why a transfer involving the highly-rated youngster to Tottenham makes sense.
“If he stays upright there [against Roma] in that witch-hall with Feyenoord in midfield, then we can start talking about a club playing in the sub-top in Spain or England. I think Lazio, and Roma, AC Milan and Tottenham, those are teams that could definitely fit. That then has to do with the philosophy and the vision”, he told Feyenoord Pings.
He concluded, “Selecting through and wanting to build with a young squad, then he is a building block I would like to have in there. I think he should look at a club that really suits him.”

Perhaps some may argue that as fair as Aad de Mos’ points are, a transfer to Tottenham for Orkun Kokcku might be too early.
However, the talented midfielder is certainly one to keep an eye out for Spurs, who have a dearth of real attacking quality in the middle of the park.
Bringing in unearthed gems like Rodrigo Bentancur and Dejan Kulusevski worked for the club to say the least and it could very well prove to be a success in this instance as well.
