Chris Tyson’s revelation about starting HRT (Hormone Replace Therapy) two months ago has turned fans curious about his personal life, with many asking if he has changed his name while undergoing the treatment.
The prominent member of the MrBeast squad came out as bisexual in 2020. However, fans came to know about his HRT treatment when he shared the same in response to a Twitter comment about his changing appearance.
For the uninitiated, HRT is a form of treatment in which hormones are administered to transgenders or gender-nonconforming individuals to better align with their preferences.
Has Chris Tyson changed his name?
No, Chris Tyson hasn’t officially changed his name or suggested he will be doing so in the future.
Most recently, the YouTube star updated his Twitter bio to read “any pronouns”, without identifying himself with a specific gender.
The influencer battled gender dysphoria for years before he decided to start HRT two months ago, reports the Daily Mail. And, Chris thanks his baby son as he made the decision after becoming a father.
However, when one Twitter user took the liberty to comment on the YouTuber’s parenting, simply because of his transformation, Chris gave a befitting response.
“This is just more dog whistling that somehow trans and gnc (gender nonconforming) folks aren’t safe around kids,” Chris said. “Tucker begs for me to come back when I leave for like 2 days to film. He is so loved and happy. Kids aren’t born with hate, it’s taught by people like you. And my child will only know love.”

He hasn’t been pictured with his wife Katie in over a year
Chris shares a two-year-old son with his wife, Katie. After he went public with his HRT treatment, people started digging into his personal life, wanting to know his relationship status with his wife.
However, neither he nor Katie has addressed any rumors about them splitting. Moreover, the last time they were pictured together was during Christmas 2021. For more than a year, they haven’t been spotted in the same frame.
The couple got married in June 2018, over two years before the YouTuber came out as bisexual in November 2020.
Thanking Tucker for helping him with his treatment, Chris tweeted: “If I didn’t have this little biggest I’d never have gotten this far. He’s taught me so much about myself in such a short time. I can’t wait to learn through life together.”

YouTuber is grateful for HRT
While MrBeast and Chris’ loved ones have shown him support through his transition, the YouTuber is grateful for the treatment that’s transformed many lives.
He tweeted: “Informed consent HRT saved my and many others’ lives. The hurdles gnc people have to jump through to get life-saving gender-affirming healthcare in a 1st world country is wild to me. Just let people make informed decisions about their own bodies.”
Chris revealed he was undergoing HRT when a fan posted a side-by-side before-and-after picture of the influencer and captioned it “bro wtf happened”.
In response to the above tweet, he revealed: “HRT, and it’s only been 2 months.”
