The viral meme about Taylor reportedly dating 20-year-old Dallas Mavericks’s player, Jaden, has clocked more than 600,000 views and we understand why! But, fans were quick to dismiss these claims and not many came to believe the joke easily.
The post shared by the MFFL fan account depicts side-by-side pictures of TayTay and the professional basketball star with a caption that reads:
“Rumor: After her breakup, Taylor Swift is reportedly dating Jaden Hardy” followed by a goat emoji.
However, neither is there any evidence to back the above rumor up nor can we find any reports as the meme claims.
Furthermore, when a Twitter user joked about the fan account sharing the above post due to a lack of Mavs news, the admin replied: “Slow news day” with a laughing emoji added next to it.

Singer and ex-boyfriend Joe Alwyn reportedly broke up
The split between Taylor and Joe Alwyn was reportedly amicable. A source confirmed the news to Entertainment Tonight.
The outlet learned that the breakup “was not dramatic.” and “the relationship had just run its course. It’s why [Alwyn] hasn’t been spotted at any shows.”
The couple hasn’t confirmed the report or addressed thier relationship in public. However, the news came as a shock to fans as the duo had been dating since late 2016 and nothing about their relationship was spoken before they decided to end it.
Meanwhile, Taylor’s last update on social media was shared on April 4, after she finished her shows in Arlington, Texas.
She will in Tampa, Florida, until Saturday, April 15.
The couple kept their relationship extremely private
Even though the couple didn’t keep their relationship status a secret and addressed it publicly, they made sure the details of it were kept under wrap.
In one interview from 2018, Joe smiled as he said he was “aware people want to know about that side of things,” while referring to his relationship with Taylor.
“I think we have been successfully very private, and that has now sunk in for people,” the actor said before emphasizing that he would rather talk about his work.
Taylor also confirmed her song Lavender Haze, which is said to be inspired by romance with Joe, talks about them being on the cloud and how they would anything to “not let people bring them down.”
“Like my relationship for six years, we’ve had to dodge weird rumors, tabloid stuff and we just ignore it. This song is sort of about the act of ignoring that stuff to protect the real stuff,” the singer said at the time.
