After Elon Musk displayed the skills of Tesla bots during the latest shareholder meeting, several pictures depicting him kissing a female version of the humanoid robots, calling them “wives”, have taken over social media.

As reports suggest, the Twitter boss’ automotive company may start producing the bots following the launch of its much-awaited Cybertruck, which was rumored to be canceled sometime last year.

Several naive Internet users believed the AI-generated images of Elon and female robots to be authentic and we wouldn’t blame them considering how real they actually look!

Meanwhile, others seem scarred for life by the sight of it.

No, Elon Musk is not kissing a humanoid female robot

The pictures of Elon Musk planting a kiss on a female humanoid robot aren’t real and most have already realized they are AI-generated.

Since the update on Tesla bots was revealed, these pictures of its owner with different female-looking robots are making the rounds on social media platforms.

However, the bots in the AI images don’t resemble the real Tesla bots, which in reality are slow and don’t carry any facial features as of yet.

Accompanying these pictures are rumors that claim: Elon Musk is building a “wife robot”, with a lot of misinformation about its hypothetical functionality.

Social media users are scarred by the images

People aren’t able to unsee the AI images of Elon with different female humanoids. Some are imagining movies premising on the same.

“This can be a perfect Ex Machina sequel,” said one.

Another wrote: “This looks accurate AF but I wish I hadn’t seen it.”

“I couldn’t care about this. It’s so scarring.” commented one.

A fourth user said: “This only matters to somebody freaking and creepy enough to even think about buying a robot and call it that woman.”

New footage of Tesla bots shows enhanced features

The new footage of the bots shared by Tesla shows them walking slowly in front of the Cybertruck. Apparently, the robots can do menial tasks such as picking up items and reorganizing them, which is an upgrade from last year.

The Tesla bots were first revealed in 2022 on AI Day but in a more deconstructed form. They could barely walk, let alone perform other functions.

Speaking of the invention, Elon had said at the time: “I do want to set some expectations with respect to our Optimus robot… Last year was just a person in a robot suit, but we’ve come a long way, and compared to that, it’s going to be very impressive.”

It remains to be seen if more functions will be added to the bots before they are finally launched.
