Miley Cyrus may not go on a 2023 tour as the singer is opening up about her feelings about having another concert for all her fans.
Ever since the release of Endless Summer Vacation, Miley Cyrus‘ fans have been hoping that the singer would announce her tour.
However, it looks like after the success of songs like Rainbowland, River, and more, the singer has some other plans up her sleeves.
Miley Cyrus may not have a 2023 tour
In an interview with British Vogue, Miley opened up about her thoughts on heading out for a tour in 2023.
The singer seemed to hint that she may never have a concert again as she said: “After the last [headline arena] show I did [in 2014], I kind of looked at it as more of a question. And I can’t. Not only can’t, because can’t is your capability, but my desire. Do I want to live my life for anyone else’s pleasure or fulfillment other than my own?”
She continued: “Like singing for hundreds of thousands of people isn’t really the thing that I love. There’s no connection. There’s no safety. It’s also not natural. It’s so isolating because if you’re in front of 100,000 people then you are alone.”
Singer opens up about her hit song Flowers
Flowers broke all the records as fans fell in love with the song and the music video. Some even thought that the song was a jab towards Miley’s ex-husband, Liam Hemsworth.
However, opening up about the song in the same interview, Miley said: “I wrote it in a really different way. The chorus was originally: ‘I can buy myself flowers, write my name in the sand, but I can’t love me better than you can.’ It used to be more, like, 1950s. The saddest song. Like: ‘Sure, I can be my own lover, but you’re so much better.”
“The song is a little fake it till you make it, which I’m a big fan of,” she continued.
What is she up to now?
At the moment, the singer is living her best life in her LA home as she surrounds herself with friends and family members.
She is currently dating Maxx Morando. The two met on a blind date and have never looked back ever since then.
Over the past couple of months, Miley and Maxx have made countless appearances together and it looks like they are happily in love.
