TalkSPORT pundit Gabriel Agbonlahor has said that Leicester City attacking midfielder James Maddison will not move to Ange Postecoglou’s Tottenham Hotspur.

Tottenham Hotspur are interested in signing James Maddison from Leicester City in the summer transfer window, according to The Guardian.

The report has claimed that new Tottenham head coach Ange Postecoglou personally wants to bring Maddison to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Newcastle United are also reported to be keen on the 26-year-old England international playmaker.

Former Aston Villa striker and talkSPORT pundit Agbonlahor does not think that Maddison will move to Spurs.

Agbonlahor said about Maddison and Tottenham: “They need more creativity in that midfield, even a James Maddison, even though I think he won’t go to Spurs.”

Leicester will play in the Championship next season after getting relegated from the Premier League.

So, the Foxes will have to cash in on some of their best players.

Now, of course, Leicester will want a hefty transfer fee for Maddison, but they are unlikely to force the playmaker if he wants to leave.

Tottenham will not play in the UEFA Champions League next season, but they are a massive club and very ambitious.

And Spurs will look to challenge for the Premier League top four next season.
