Pizza Hut has introduced new toppings in the form of a pickle pizza but where can you buy this and what’s its price?
Pizza lovers will be happy to know that Pizza Hut is trying to bring new flavors to life this weekend. Even though this offer is only for a limited time, it might just be what your tastebuds need.
The new flavor does not come as a surprise as the pizza chain has managed to wow the customers with different offers in the past such as the one seen on PI day. Now, they are making sure that no one is left in a pickle and everyone can enjoy it instead.
Where can you buy Pizza Hut’s pickle pizza?
At the moment, the pickle pizza is being sold only in one location and that is in New York. Interested customers can head to Pizza Hut located at 932 8th Avenue in New York City to get a taste of this limited-time deal.
The price of this pizza is $17.99. The pizza is a “hand-tossed crust, sauced with Buttermilk Ranch, and topped with cheese, crispy breaded chicken breast seasoned with a kick of Nashville Hot Seasoning, sliced white onions, and then loaded with spicy dill pickles and a drizzle of Buttermilk Ranch,” as per the press release.
The pickle pizza is exclusively for carryout and customers must order it in-store. Keep in mind, this pizza is available only until the supply lasts and the last day to get hands-on this is June 11.
How this recipe came to life
The idea behind the pickle pizza was a product of social media as the food chain noticed that people on TikTok were incorporating pickles into different items to make a perfectly delicious dish.
Keeping up with the trend, Pizza Hut decided to hop on the popularity of these pickles and produce a dish of their own.
This is not the first time that a food giant has taken inspiration from social media. Previously, Chipotle introduced Fajita Quesadilla after the dish became popular on TikTok because of food critic Keith Lee.
Customers react to the new pizza
After Pizza Hut posted about the limited-time menu item addition people were quick to react with their thoughts about the same.
One user wrote: “I want this.” Another added: “You know what I would 100% give this a shot.”
“Dude, I think pickles on pizza are severely underrated!! It’s one of those things that sounds super weird, but it’s secretly super delicious!! Personally, I love pickles on pizza!!” said one more.
“I did this at home expecting it to be awful and it’s actually not as bad as you’d think. Put some chicken on there and it becomes quite delicious, in fact,” wrote one more.
