Ange Postecoglou’s Tottenham Hotspur have been linked with Manchester United winger Jadon Sancho.

According to The Daily Star, Tottenham Hotspur are interested in signing Jadon Sancho from Premier League rivals Manchester United in the summer transfer window.

The report has claimed that Tottenham are considering making an offer of £50 million for the England international winger.

United are open to cashing in on the 23-year-old and are likely to ask for £60 million for the £350,000-a-week (Spotrac) player, according to the report.

Should Tottenham Hotspur bid for Manchester United winger Jadon Sancho?

In our view, Tottenham Hotspur should not rush into making a deal for Manchester United winger Jadon Sancho.

Yes, we know that Sancho is a good player and is also very young, but he has had fitness issues and has not been a huge success at Old Trafford.

The 23-year-old has failed to replicate the form that he showed at Borussia Dortmund.

So, in our opinion, it would be a risk for Tottenham to spend £50 million on Sancho as well as pay his huge wages.

If Tottenham are really looking for a winger, then they should try for someone who was in form this past season and would be able to make an immediate impact at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Sancho has scored nine goals and created 11 big chances in 55 appearances in the Premier League so far in his career.
