As per her Linkedin, Hillary has been a part of the fashion industry for many years. Prior to joining the Savage X Fenty team, she worked as the Global CEO of Anthropologie Group.
Other brands that she helped build included Maris Collective, Guess, and American Eagle Outfitters.
After graduating from the University of Southern California, Hillary notes that she has a “record of transformational leadership, vision, and profitable growth.”
Now, she is bringing her expertise to grow Rihanna’s business. Apart from being the CEO of the company, she will also be a board member.
Why is Rihanna stepping down as the CEO?
The singer is reportedly stepping down to focus on her family while also marking it as a strategic move where she could allow the business to grow while bringing in a new perspective.
At the moment, Rihanna is currently pregnant with her second child with ASAP Rocky. The pair welcomed their first child last year. As for her second pregnancy, the singer broke the big news during her Super Bowl performance.
While the couple waits to welcome their second child, they did share the exciting news about naming their firstborn with the world a couple of months ago.
