Fabrizio Romano has reported on Twitter that Aston Villa will make another bid for Moussa Diaby.
The Italian journalist has claimed that Aston Villa are determined to sign Moussa Diaby from Bayer Leverkusen in the summer transfer window.
Villa had an initial offer for Diaby turned down.
The winger, though, is keen on a move to Villa Park.
The Premier League club will make a new offer for Diaby, who is “exciting” and “quick and tricky”, according to European football expert Kevin Hatchard.
Newcastle United and Arsenal have also been linked with the France international.

Diaby himself is ready to make the move to Villa, and that will certainly aid the Premier League club in negotiations with German outfit Bayer.
Bayer are a big and established club in Germany who regularly challenge for the European places in the Bundesliga table.
So they are not going to sell one of their best players on the cheap.
However, Villa planning to make a second bid for Diaby suggests that they do think that they could be able to sign the winger.
Diaby made 33 appearances in the Bundesliga for Bayer last season.
The 24-year-old scored nine goals and gave eight assists in those games.
The winger also made seven starts and one substitute appearance in the UEFA Europa League for Bayer last campaign.
Diaby scored three goals and gave one assist in those matches.
Villa are going places under manager Unai Emery, and Diaby would make the Villans better and would give the former Arsenal boss a very option in attack.
