IShowSpeed is reportedly set to avoid a ban from YouTube despite accidentally exposing his “meat” during a live stream, but fans are worried that he’s quitting the platform, after an old video resurfaced.
IShowSpeed has been silent after the viral incident that took social media platforms by storm yesterday when he ended up exposing his genitals on camera while reacting to getting jump scared by Chica on Five Nights At Freddy’s (FNAF). The YouTuber was quick to take the video down in which he accidentally showed his junk for a few seconds, but trolls are still circulating the clip.
Old video has fans thinking IShowSpeed is quitting YouTube
Fans are under the impression that embarrassed by his recent wardrobe malfunction during the live stream, IShowSpeed is ‘quitting’ YouTube. Those concerns are a result of an old video of him bidding goodbye to the platform trending once again.
Some aren’t aware that the video in question was shared by the streamer last year when he was pulling an April Fools’ prank on his fans. The video, which has been made to look like it’s brand-new, has led people to think that the YouTuber had decided to walk away now following the much-discussed incident this week, but that’s not true.
In the clip, which is being falsely linked to the latest incident, IShowSpeed announces his exit from YouTube because he’s had enough, only to scream “April Fools” in the end. But, the video has been carefully edited to look like he was talking about quitting the platform in the wake of his accidental flash. Worried fans are hoping that’s not true.
IShowSpeed hasn’t addressed the flashing incident or spoken about quitting YouTube as some posts claim. His YouTube channel is still active.
YouTube hasn’t banned him
After IShowSpeed unintentionally exposed his junk yesterday, fans have been worried YouTube may ban him for violating its terms and policies.
But, TMZ claims YouTube will not punish the streamer over the accident, and he will be allowed to post videos as usual going forward.
“TMZ Sports has learned the popular gamer is NOT banned from posting on YouTube following the incident,” the report states.
It further notes, his future content will be reviewed to fit the community guidelines, “but it seems the company is forgiving when it comes to honest mistakes.”
At least 25,000 viewers are believed to have been watching IShowSpeed’s stream when the incident unfolded on camera.
Fans don’t want the streamer to quit
As IShowSpeed has remained radio silent since flashing his “meat”, fans have grown concerned about his future on YouTube and other streaming platforms. They are hoping he won’t quit.
“According to a recent Tiktok, iShowSpeed has fully quit content. Forever, according to him. I hope that’s not true,” said one.
“I heard IShowSpeed is quitting YouTube? NO!,” wrote another.
A third fan said: “Is he really quitting YouTube? I feel sad for him for real! IShowSpeed please speak up”
