TalkSPORT pundit Jamie O’Hara has said that Arsenal attacking midfielder Emile Smith Rowe is not good enough for the Gunners’ first team.
The former Tottenham Hotspur player has said on talkSPORT (5:42pm, August 26, 2023) that Emile Smith Rowe is not good enough to play for an Arsenal team who are aiming to win the Premier League title this season.
The 23-year-old, who can also operate as a winger, has yet to make an appearance in the Premier League for Arsenal this season.
The England international playmaker made 12 substitute appearances in the Premier League for Mikel Arteta’s side last season.

O’Hara made the comments about Smith Rowe while discussing Arsenal’s failure to win against Fulham in the Premier League on Saturday.
The London derby between the Gunners and the Cottagers at the Emirates Stadium ended in a 2-2 draw.
O’Hara said about Smith Rowe: “I don’t think he is good enough. He is not good enough to play in this team who are going to try and win the league.”
Emile Smith Rowe is a very good player, but he does face a huge challenge to play week in and week out for Arsenal.
Martin Odegaard is the creator-in-chief of the Gunners.
Arsenal signed Kai Havertz from Chelsea in the summer transfer window.
Yes, Smith Rowe can operate as a winger as well, but he is not getting into the Arsenal starting lineup ahead of wingers Gabriel Martinelli and Bukayo Saka.

Smith Rowe has made 67 appearances in the Premier League so far in his career.
The playmaker has scored 12 goals and given eight assists in those games.
