Natalia Becker, the wife of Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson, has told Fabinho on Instagram to ‘go shine your light’ in Saudi Arabia.
The 29-year-old made an emotional transfer to Saudi Arabia Pro League side, Al-Ittihad, after five years of service to Liverpool.
Just like Jordan Henderson following his move to Steven Gerrard’s Al-Ettifaq, Fabinho penned a message to the Anfield faithful on Instagram.
After arriving on the Liverpool scene, with the club dreaming of winning the big trophies again under Jurgen Klopp.
They did just that under huge pressure, including their Premier League triumph and Champions League glory in Madrid.
Fabinho won the lot at Anfield, and in the comments section of his IG post, he was praised and lauded by a number of people, including the wife of Alisson.
“Fabinho! Thank you for everything,” wrote Natalie Becker. “Go and shine your light.”
A new chapter begins at Liverpool
After the 2022/23 Premier League season came to an end, many fans, including probably Jurgen Klopp himself, were calling for big changes and refreshment to the team.
But not many expected it all to happen in such a fashion that five midfield players ended up leaving.
Three of them were expected – Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, James Milner and Naby Keita – but not many saw the Henderson and Fabinho ones coming.
All in all, it ends a trophy-winning chapter for those players and opens up a new one for others.
