Liverpool left-back Andy Robertson has raved about Mohamed Salah after the match against Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool got the better of Wolverhampton Wanderers 3-1 away from home in the Premier League on Saturday.

Wolves took the lead against Liverpool after just seven minutes.

The Reds really struggled in the first half.

Liverpool, though, stepped up their game in the second period.

The Merseyside club scored three goals in the second half and won the match 3-1.

Andy Robertson praises Liverpool teammate Mohamed Salah

Egyptian forward Mohamed Salah provided two assists.

And his Liverpool teammate Andy Robertson was impressed.

While praising Salah, the Scotland international left-back has noted that the former Chelsea attacker does not get the credit that he deserves for what he does when he does not score.

Robertson told Liverpool’s official website about Salah: “I thought he put in another really good second-half performance, like we all did.

“I thought first half we were all not at it. But saying that, he probably only gets credit when he gets goals now, which is probably slightly unfair.

“I think he’s got two assists today and he’s got us back in the game.

“He’s created the chances for us and second half he was really good and probably set the tempo for us.”

Mohamed Salah does more than score goals for Liverpool

We all know that Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah is one of the best goalscorers the Premier League has ever seen.

And he is not showing any signs of slowing down despite being 31 years of age now.

Salah has scored 141 goals in 236 appearances in the Premier League so far in his career.

What many often forget is that Salah also creates chances and provides assists for his teammates.

The Egyptian has given 63 assists in the Premier League so far in his career.

Salah has given four assists in the league already this season.

Last season, the Liverpool forward provided 12 assists in the Premier League, while in 2021-22, he gave 13 assists in the league.
