- Marvel fans have been left waiting for the next arrivals in the MCU after both Loki’s season 2 finale and The Marvel arrived on the same day.
- Upcoming movies include the likes of Deadpool 3, Captain America: Brave New World and two more Avengers films.
- On the small screen, Marvel is developing a host of Disney+ series including What If…? season 2, Echo and Daredevil: Born Again.
Since Avengers: Endgame brought an end to the Infinity Saga in 2019, the Marvel Cinematic Universe has been somewhat hit and miss with its output of films and Disney+ TV series. That can certainly be said of its most recent arrivals, Loki season 2 and The Marvels, but following their respective releases, there is still plenty more in the MCU pipeline.
Upcoming MCU movies
Following the release of The Marvels, which has suffered the lowest box office opening of any MCU movie to date, there are still a plethora of movies planned for 2024 and beyond.
However, thanks to the recent WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes and resulting production delays, the release dates of several projects have been pushed back from their originally planned arrivals.

Beyond the currently confirmed slate of films are also several movies in early development including Amor Wars, a fourth Spider-Man film, a sequel to Shang-Chi and an X-Men movie.
Upcoming MCU TV series
While The Marvels may have received a lukewarm reception upon its arrival, the same cannot be said for Loki season 2 which has been praised as one of the MCU’s best recent efforts.
Following the time-twisting series are a number of Disney+ projects, although, beyond the most immediate arrivals, the release schedule for the various series is less set in stone than their movie counterparts.

Other series in a blend of post-production and filming are Ironheart and Daredevil: Born Again.
Likely to arrive a little later down the line as the likes of Spider-Man: Freshman Year and Sophomore Year, Marvel Zombies, Wonder Man, Vision Quest as well as untitled series on Wakanda and the character Nova.
Also reportedly in development are further seasons of What If…? and Daredevil: Born Again.
Season 2 of Loki is available to stream in full on Disney+ while The Marvels is currently out in theaters after both arriving on November 10, 2023.
