Tottenham Hotspur attacking midfielder James Maddison has sent a message to the fans on Instagram.

Maddison has updated the Tottenham fans on his injury, and Chelsea legend John Terry has responded to the post.

So, what has Tottenham Hotspur and England international attacking midfielder James Maddison said about his injury?

Let’s take a look.

What’s the story?

Well, Tottenham Hotspur playmaker James Maddison has suffered a long-term injury.

Maddison suffered an ankle injury in the Premier League match against Chelsea on Monday night.

Tottenham head coach Ange Postecoglou has said that the England international will not play until the New Year.

Maddison has now taken to Instagram to send a message to the fans.

As you can see, the playmaker has assured the Tottenham fans that he will be back stronger.

Former Chelsea and England international defender John Terry has responded to Maddison’s post.

Tottenham are third in the Premier League table with 26 points from 12 matches.

Spurs are a point behind Manchester City and Arsenal.

City and Arsenal are first and second respectively in the standings.

Pep Guardiola’s side have played 11 matches.

James Maddison injury a big blow for Tottenham Hotspur

In my opinion, Tottenham Hotspur are going to miss James Maddison badly in the coming weeks and months.

Maddison has been one of the best players for Spurs this season.

The 26-year-old joined Tottenham from Leicester City in the summer transfer window.

Maddison hit the ground running at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

The playmaker has scored three goals and given five assists in 11 Premier League matches this campaign.

It will be interesting to see how Tottenham head coach Ange Postecoglou compensates for the loss of Maddison.

Tottenham’s main objective this season has to be to finish in the top four of the Premier League table.
