What we know about Bisan Wizard
Bisan is a filmmaker and a social media personality who has been uploading content on Instagram for a couple of years.
She became an internet sensation when she started uploading real-time footage from Gaza. As of now, she has 1.8 million followers on Instagram.
Initially, Bisan began to upload videos to showcase how the conflict impacted her family. Later, she decided to take her phone to the streets and capture the real-life events that were taking place in front of her.

The internet in Gaza has been fluctuating ever since the conflict took a more serious turn. This has been a discussion in Bisan’s videos as well.
The young filmmaker has been making videos on her phone and uploading them online whenever there is internet. A couple of days ago, there was even an internet blackout and people struggled to connect with their relatives or people outside of Gaza.
Speaking to Wired, Doug Madory, director of internet analysis at monitoring firm Kentik, noted that “in the last 10 days, there have been three periods of time that connectivity has gone to completely zero.”
How many people have died in Gaza?
As per reports, more than 11,070 Palestinians have died. Gaza Health Ministry reported that out of this, two-thirds of them are reported to be women and young children.
Apart from this, 2,650 people are reportedly missing. Meanwhile, nearly 1,400 people have died in Israel, mainly when the initial strike from Gaza took place.
41 Israeli soldiers have also been killed during operations in Gaza.
