Jamie Carragher has given his verdict on Chelsea attacker Cole Palmer while watching him in action against Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City.
The former Liverpool defender and Sky Sports pundit was impressed with what he saw from Palmer, who joined Chelsea from City in the summer transfer window.

Well, Chelsea and Manchester City have played out a 4-4 draw with each other at Stamford Bridge in London in the Premier League.
It was one of the best and most entertaining matches so far this season, perhaps even the best.
Cole Palmer started the match for Chelsea.
The 21-year-old started on the right of an attacking midfield-three in a 4-2-3-1 formation.
Palmer, who can operate as an attacking midfielder or as a winger, joined Chelsea from City in the summer transfer window.
The Blues paid City an initial transfer fee of £40 million (Sky Sports) for the English youngster.
Palmer had a good game and scored from the penalty spot in the fifth minute of injury time.
Former Liverpool defender Jamie Carragher was impressed.
Carragher was on co-commentary duty for the match on Sky Sports Premier League.
The pundit noted just how good Palmer was with the penalty against Ederson, a goalkeeper who knows him well from his time at City.
Carragher said (6:29 pm, November 12, 2023): “What a penalty under that pressure, under a goalkeeper who knows him so well.
“The arrogance that lad has got… football arrogance.
“You are not saving that.”

In my opinion, Cole Palmer is doing extremely well at Chelsea.
Not many players succeed after leaving Manchester City, but the 21-year-old is showing just how good he is.
Palmer has established himself as an important player in Mauricio Pochettino’s team.
The 21-year-old has scored six goals and given two assists in nine Premier League matches and has given two assists in two Carabao Cup games for Chelsea this season.
