Thierry Henry has stated that his ‘only problem’ with Arsenal striker Gabriel Jesus is his injury record.
Arsenal signed the 26-year-old last summer from Manchester City and he instantly transformed Mikel Arteta’s side that started pushing for the Premier League title.
But the Brazil international proceeded to get injured at the 2022 Qatar World Cup and missed a number of months of action for Arsenal.
And once again, Gabriel Jesus is out of action, after a recent hamstring issue, which has seen him miss his side’s recent Premier League games and the win over Sevilla in the Champions League on Wednesday night – Henry lauded Bukayo Saka’s performance.
Before that game, Thierry Henry was talking all things Arsenal, including Gabriel Jesus, who scored during the reverse fixture in Spain, as he told CBS Sports on Paramount+ (08/11/23 at 7:30 pm).
The Highbury hero praised Gabriel Jesus for that moment, but also had to mention how it’s unfortunate that he can’t stay on the field.

“When you see that goal (Jesus’s against Sevilla), that’s a great strike,” said Henry. “The only problem with Gabriel Jesus is that he often gets injured. Unfortunately for him and us.”
Will Arsenal buy another striker?
The two men fighting it out for the number nine spots are Jesus and Hale-End academy star Eddie Nketiah, who recently scored a hat-trick against Sheffield United.
Despite that moment from Nketiah, it’s Jesus who is still the number one guy, with the recently-capped England star only coming into the picture when his teammate is injured.
But many aren’t convinced by the two and there is talk of another striker who needs to come in – Brentford striker Ivan Toney has constantly got a mention.
Whatever Arsenal do, there is huge pressure on the front two because they are constantly told that they aren’t good enough to lead the London club to the Premier League title.
