It’s claimed that Guirassy is now a ‘key target’ for West Ham and the Hammers believe that he is ready to shine in the Premier League.
The problem for West Ham is that Guirassy is attracting interest from a host of other clubs.
Sky Germany reporter Florian Plettenberg claims that Newcastle United and Manchester United are both ‘seriously interested’ in signing Guirassy.
Beating Newcastle and Manchester United won’t be easy but West Ham may hope that the promise of a starring role can win the race.
Guirassy may just be competition for the likes of Alexander Isak, Callum Wilson and Rasmus Hojlund if he heads to St James’ Park or Old Trafford.
West Ham would surely promise Guirassy the role of being first-choice hitman at the London Stadium, which should be key for the Guinean having hit his best form with Stuttgart.
Guirassy has smashed 16 goals in 12 Bundesliga games this season, becoming one of the sensations of the campaign.
Hailed as ‘phenomenal’ by boss Sebastian Hoeness, Guirassy has been offered to both Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur according to 90min.
West Ham’s interest is therefore pretty ambitious, but having already raided Stuttgart for Konstantinos Mavropanos over the summer, they may fancy their chances of securing a huge signing.
