A round-up of the latest Premier League transfer gossip from Arsenal, Chelsea, West Ham and Manchester United with Tottenham Hotspur optimistic about a £30m deal.

HITC Football transfer gossip

Arsenal want to sign AFC Ajax defender Jorrel Hato over the January transfer window, HITC Football understands. The Gunners are well-placed to seal a deal, despite Chelsea, Liverpool and Real Madrid showing interest. But the 17-year-old is more likely to move in the summer.

Arsenal are also doing their homework on Fenerbahce wing-back Ferdi Kadioglu in case Ajax refuse to sell Hato in January. HITC Football also understands that the Gunners have marked the 24-year-old as an option. Mikel Arteta is keen to strengthen Arsenal’s depth at left-back.

Chelsea have told Trevoh Chalobah that he is free to leave Stamford Bridge over the January transfer market. HITC Football also understands that the Blues have accepted they may have to accept a loan deal this month. AS Roma and Bayern Munich have even held talks recently.

Borussia Dortmund still remain on course to re-sign Jadon Sancho on loan from Manchester United in January. HITC Football understands that the winger was ready to fly to Marbella to join BVB on Friday. But despite an initial agreement, the clubs are still finalising small details.

Agents have told Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester United, Newcastle and Tottenham Hotspur that Paulo Dybala can leave Roma for just £10m, HITC Football understands. But the clause in his contract ends in mid-January and Premier League teams question if he will join.

Senior figures within the Chelsea first-team squad have urged the Stamford Bridge outfit to keep Conor Gallagher. He is also ready to discuss a new contract in west London and made it clear in the last week that the midfielder does not want to go, HITC Football understands.

Tottenham remain the favourites to sign Radu Dragusin from Genoa, with his agent pushing to finalise the transfer, HITC Football understands. Spurs are even optimistic about securing a move by the end of this week. But Genoa remain insistent on securing £30m for Dragusin.

Dragusin joining Tottenham will also free Eric Dier to leave north London during the January transfer window. HITC Football understands the defender, Sergio Reguilon and Djed Spence are all free to move this month. Dier is a target for Bayern Munich but has further interest.

Manchester United transfer gossip

Villarreal are lining up a permanent transfer for Manchester United winger Facundo Pellistri, reports The Sun. The La Liga side also hope to agree a deal this month with Erik ten Hag now open to his departure. The Red Devils will want to earn, at least, the £9m they paid for him.

Fenerbahce are interested in signing Manchester United forward Anthony Martial over the January transfer window, per Takvim. The Super Lig side hope to strike a move for a modest fee with the 28-year-old out of contract in June. Their opening offer will only be €8m (£7m).

Tottenham Hotspur transfer gossip

Leeds United shocked Tottenham by sending Spence back to north London midway through a season-long loan transfer. The Daily Mail notes that Spurs did not expect the right-back to return before they heard from Leeds. Spence will now leave Tottenham again this January.

West Ham United transfer gossip

West Ham United are open to selling Nayef Aguerd this month if they receive a substantial offer, per the Evening Standard. The defender is with the Morocco squad at AFCON but has interest from Saudi Arabia. Bayer Leverkusen’s Jonathan Tah is an option to replace Aguerd.
