Alan Pardew has given his verdict on the performance of Arsenal winger Gabriel Martinelli against Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool.
The former Newcastle United manager has also noted how Leandro Trossard and Bukayo Saka did for Arsenal in the Premier League game.

Well, Arsenal won against Liverpool at the Emirates Stadium in the Premier League this past weekend.
Gabriel Martinelli was among the goalscorers. The 22-year-old Brazil international winger found the back of the net midway through the second half when he took advantage of a defensive mix-up between Alisson and Virgil van Dijk.
Michael Owen was hugely impressed with Martinelli, who came off in the second half after scoring his goal.
Leandro Trossard and Bukayo Saka were the other goalscorers for Arsenal.
Former West Ham United manager and talkSPORT pundit Alan Pardew was impressed by the displays produced by Saka, Trossard and particularly Martinelli.
Pardew said on talkSPORT (6:55 pm, February 4, 2024): “From the wide areas today, I am just looking at the replay of Trossard’s last goal.
“He looked a threat, didn’t he? He had pace. Martinelli suddenly looked quicker, Saka was a threat all game, then Trossard comes on and scores.”
The pundit added: “The wide players were terrific. Martinelli – wow! He was outstanding.”
My View: Gabriel Martinelli is back in form for Arsenal
In my view, Gabriel Martinelli is back in form for Arsenal. I think that the winger is playing well now and is back to being a force to be reckoned with.
Martinelli scored twice against Crystal Palace and was on target against Liverpool this past weekend.
The 22-year-old Brazil international winger is showing all his attributes now. He is quick, links up well with his fellow Arsenal attackers and can score goals.
In my opinion, Arsenal are a better team with Martinelli in it. The Gunners are aiming to win the Premier League title this season, and I believe that for the North London club to be successful in that quest, the Brazilian will have to be on top form in the final weeks and months of the campaign.
