Liverpool striker Diogo Jota has taken to social media to laugh straight after the 1-1 draw with Manchester City on Sunday afternoon.
The Reds battled back from a goal down to claim a 1-1 draw against City.
John Stones fired home from a Kevin De Bruyne corner but Liverpool started the second half well and grabbed a penalty as Darwin Nunez was brought down by Ederson.
Alexis Mac Allister beat the Brazilian to pull Liverpool and the Reds created a number of good openings but just couldn’t find a winner.
A point apiece was probably a fair result in the end but one moment will sting for Liverpool fans…

Liverpool were pushing for a winner when Mac Allister went in to challenge Jeremy Doku for a bouncing ball.
Doku raised his boot and appeared to kick Mac Allister in the chest with Liverpool screaming for a penalty.
VAR ruled that Doku won enough of the ball and allowed play to go on, leaving Reds fans furious.

The £45million Liverpool forward missed the game through injury but seemingly wasn’t impressed as the Reds missed out on a dramatic late spot kick.
This is a situation where we believe the penalty would have been rubber-stamped had it been given on the pitch.
We don’t think VAR would have overturned that decision, showing the narrow margins when it comes to these decisions in the modern game.
Liverpool and Jota must now move on and look to bounce back with wins against Sparta Prague and Manchester United over the next week.
