Liverpool fans are dreading the day Jurgen Klopp heads for the exit door because it’s going to take something monumental to replace him.
The trophies the German has won speak for themselves and it’s a reason why he is in the legendary books at Anfield.
But another one of his successes has been playing and providing a regular opportunity to the kids, with Conor Bradley a prime example.
Jay Bothroyd suggested that the 20-year-old could be a surprise starter next season under the new manager, even though Liverpool have Trent Alexander-Arnold, as he told The Football Show on Sky Sports.
The England international, on his day, is the best fullback in the world and probably the best in the Premier League in his position.
But, in recent months, Conor Bradley has shown the Liverpool fans that there is serious competition behind Trent and he could deploy other positions, such as midfield, if need be.
These recent injuries to Jurgen Klopp’s team have proved to be a blessing in disguise because the young guns are stepping up to the plate and benefiting from the minutes.

“Do you know when we say that is the player (van Dijk) that would only start, I am not sure going into next season because Conor Bradley looks amazing,” said Botrhoyd.
“He was amazing (against Manchester City). Defensively and offensively, he was good. Gomez played left-back. I think he has been unfortunate with injuries. Should he be in the England squad?
“Quansah played really well, so we are starting to see a different backline.”
Trent Alexander-Arnold in midfield
In years gone by, fans have called for Alexander-Arnold to play in midfield, but there hasn’t been anyone to take his place at right-back.
For years and years, he has been the main guy in that spot, with little depth and the players filling in for him being the likes of James Milner, Joe Gomez and Jordan Henderson.
But now that Bradley is putting in such performances, then surely he can’t be ignored for next season.
It’s not yet known who the new manager will be, but they will be wise to earn Bradley those regular starts.
