A big few weeks await Liverpool as they aim to recover from dropped points away at Manchester United.
Everyone associated with Liverpool is desperate to end the campaign, which will be Jurgen Klopp’s last, on the highest of highs.
The Premier League title is the ultimate. The Reds are sitting second in the table and are behind leaders Arsenal on goal difference.
Not only will this be Klopp’s final few weeks at the club, but this could also prove to be the end for Mohamed Salah.
Sources have told HITC that the Saudi Pro League are readying offers for the 31-year-old ahead of a summer transfer.
When Salah does eventually leave, there is no doubt that he will bow out as a Liverpool legend and one of their greatest ever.
Nemanja Vidic is certainly a fan of the Egypt star and how he is just an ‘amazing’ player, as he told Premier League Productions (07/04/24 at 2:55 pm).
The Manchester United legend added that Salah is also an ‘example to the younger generation’ for how he conducts himself and looks after his body.
Whilst many go past 30 and probably wear off, that isn’t the case with Salah because he is playing the best football of his career right now.

“Apart from the goals he scores, his movement and workrate, it’s amazing,” said Vidic. “He sets the tone from the front and is always on your shoulder – with his workrate and repetition, you will always get chances.
On Salah’s lack of credit: “I think sometimes players get recognition when they win the trophies. To be fair, Man City have been winning quite a lot recently, so normally, Man City players will be recognised a lot more.
“Mo Salah has the numbers. He has been consistent in the past four or five years. But his shape, when he takes his shirt off, he is a professional and an example to young generations. How you have to train and look after your body. And he didn’t have any injuries. He is an example to the young players.”
Keeping Mohamed Salah at Liverpool
Losing Klopp is going to be hard enough, the last thing the new manager needs is a player the calibre of Salah also going.
It would make the next manager’s life much, much easier because he would then be able to rely on Salah to get him through sticky periods, if they were to occur.
But, from Liverpool’s perspective, and at the end of the day they treat it as a business now, if big money is put on the table for a 31-year-old, then they might have no chance but to accept.
Fans might not want to hear it, but it’s the way the game has now gone.
