'Priority remains clear' Juventus drop key Federico Chiesa transfer hint amid Newcastle and Tottenham interest

Juventus have dropped a major hint about the future of winger Federico Chiesa as rumours persist over his future.

HITC has reported that Tottenham Hotspur and Newcastle United are interested in Juventus’ Federico Chiesa this summer.

We had also reported that Chiesa was set to hold talks with new Juventus manager Thiago Motta about his future at the Turin club with Juventus failing to agree a new deal with Chiesa this summer.

Sources have confirmed to HITC that the current offer on the table to Chiesa is below his expectations.

If a new deal for Chiesa is not agreed, then Juventus have informed him and his representatives that they would look to sell him this summer.

Juventus drop Federico Chiesa hint

The future of Chiesa is certainly unclear with the Italian winger potentially available for £25-30 million this summer which is certainly a bargain for a player of his quality.

Juventus had previously been told to not sell Chiesa this summer but it appears the Italian giants have made their decision.

According to a post from Fabrizio Romano on X, Chiesa has been left out of Juventus’s squad for today’s game against French side Stade Brest.

Romano claims that Juventus want to sell the winger this summer which would suggest the Italian giants are no closer to striking an agreement for the former Fiorentina ace.

Last season for Juve, Chiesa featured in 33 Serie A games for the Italian giants, scoring nine goals and providing two assists.

A move to the Premier League could be in the offing for the winger.

Spurs signing Chiesa would be the deal of the summer

HITC has reported that striker Santiago Gimenez was of interest to Tottenham with a new forward one of the club’s priorities.

However, Mikey Moore is turning out to be a breakout star for Spurs and it is imperative that the Englishman gets game time for the club.

Dejan Kulusevski has also been playing as a striker so the need for a new centre-forward is perhaps not as pressing as it once was.

Signing Chiesa as a new right winger to accommodate for Kulusevski moving centrally, especially for so cheap, could be a masterstroke.
