Declan Rice has been linked with Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal, and the West Ham United midfielder showed yet again at the weekend why.
Rice is one of the best midfielders in the Premier League, and Arsenal are reportedly keen on bringing him to the Emirates Stadium in the summer transfer window.
The Independent reported last week that Arsenal are keen on signing Rice from London and Premier League rivals West Ham in the summer transfer window.
Sky Germany journalist Florian Plettenberg has claimed that Chelsea are keen on Rice.
In February 2023, talkSPORT presenter Jim White claimed that West Ham want £120 million plus add-ons for the England international, who can also operate as a defender.
Rice is not known for scoring goals, but the England international is starting to bang in the goals now.
The midfielder scored for West Ham in their 4-0 win against Bournemouth away from home in the Premier League this past weekend.
Rice was also on target during the Hammers’ 4-1 win against KAA Gent at London Stadium in the UEFA Europa Conference League last weekend.
And, as you can see below, Rice’s West Ham teammate Pablo Fornals has told him not to stop.
Just imagine how much of a weapon Rice would be in the Arsenal midfield if he started to score regularly now.
