Raphinha has been linked with Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal and Eddie Howe’s Newcastle United, but Barcelona head coach Xavi has suggested that he does not want to sell the winger in the summer transfer window.
As relayed by Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano on Twitter, Xavi has said that he is very happy with Barcelona winger Raphinha.
The Barcelona legend has shared his feelings about the 26-year-old, who has been linked with Premier League duo Arsenal and Newcastle.
Xavi’s comments, as you can see below, suggest that he does not want the winger to leave for Arsenal or Newcastle.
Journalist Dean Jones has told GiveMeSport that Newcastle are keen on signing former Leeds winger Raphinha from Barcelona in the summer transfer window.
The Magpies reportedly believe that they could be able to bring the Brazilian star to St. James’ Park if they are able to secure UEFA Champions League football for next season.
The Daily Mail have claimed that Arsenal are interested in Raphinha and are monitoring his situation.
Mundo Deportivo reported in January that Arsenal wanted to sign the winger in the January transfer window.
However, the winger decided to turn down the chance to move to the Gunners, just like he did last summer.
