Fans of Taylor Swift are highly convinced the singer is planning a surprise ahead of Easter after seeing multiple Polaroids pictures, with a background in TayTay’s signature shade, on Niceboy Ed’s website. “Who is that”, you ask? There’s more than one theory associated with this mysterious person.
People came to know about Niceboy Ed through Taylor Swift, when she shared one of the songs by the then-unknown artist in a montage featuring the making of Midnights on TikTok.
No sooner, wild theories crossed people’s minds, as they tried to link TayTay with Ed, who has been given multiple hypothetical identities so far.
They are back once again with more clues for fans to pick up on in the most intriguing yet cryptic way!
Polaroids on Niceboy Ed’s website send fans into a tizzy
Niceboy Ed’s website features 10 Polaroid pictures, of which only a few have been unlocked, according to fans who joined the mailing list.
Each Polaroid picture in different pastel hues or featuring abstract patterns comes with different labels, such as “sunlight stays so late in June by nice boy ed (3/10)” or “shimmering and skintight by niceboy ed (6/10)”.
Fans couldn’t help but think it had something to do with Taylor’s 1989 album, thanks to the Polaroid picture as seen on its cover, and the light blue color splashed all over the website, which is also the theme shade of her merch supporting her fifth studio album. To add to that, the Eras tour was also themed around the same color and so were the props used in it.
The website also has the option to sign up for the waitlist for Niceboy Ed’s Discord, which fans are waiting with bated breath to join.
Meanwhile, several fans have noted that the rest of the pictures are yet to be revealed, with high hopes of being able to finally unravel Ed’s identity.

Theories associated with Taylor Swift are swirling once again
Niceboy Ed’s social media accounts have caught our attention once again with the newest post consisting of nothing but a blue background, sparking interesting theories to explain Taylor’s association.
One of the most popular theories among all suggests that Taylor has been teasing her fans disguised as Ed, using a filter to change her voice in all the songs released under the latter’s accounts.
A few others are convinced Ed is none other than TayTay’s long-term boyfriend Joe Alwyn, who has lent his vocals under the pseudonym and it’s his baby picture on the cover of the Heaven and Life You Lead.
And, some of them strongly believe Ed is Joe’s best friend, who also happens to be a talented singer and a close friend of Taylor’s too.
Another theory claims Taylor has four re-recordings left, and the fact that the website came to life on April 4 or 4/4, could possibly mean that the singer is planning to drop a new song.
There’s also another theory completely opposing anything to do with Taylor, suggesting that Niceboy Ed is an individual artist themself and one shouldn’t kill their identity by dragging the Midnights singer into their work or associating her with the unidentified artist.

Niceboy Ed’s return has pushed Taylor’s fans to find answers to questions that have been haunting them for a long time now.
The quest for truth has also garnered some interesting reactions from fans.
