David Moyes’s West Ham United are interested in signing Djibril Sow, a player Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal have also been linked with.
West Ham United want Arsenal target Djibril Sow to replace Declan Rice
The Sun have reported that West Ham are interested in signing Sow from Eintracht Frankfurt in the summer transfer window.
The Hammers are reportedly looking at the 26-year-old Switzerland international midfielder as a potential replacement for Rice.
The Telegraph have reported that Arsenal want to sign Rice from London and Premier League rivals West Ham in the summer transfer window and have made the England international their top target.
West Ham head of recruitment Rob Newman reportedly watched Sow in action against Borussia Dortmund in the Bundesliga.
The 26-year-old could be available for £20 million in the summer transfer window.
Interestingly, Sow has been linked with Arsenal as well.
Bild reported in December that Arsenal have joined the race to sign Sow, alongside Newcastle United and Nottingham Forest.
Sky Germany’s Florian Plettenberg subsequently claimed that Sow ‘wants to leave’ Frankfurt this summer.
