TikTok users have started rolling out their best pick-up lines in the latest funny rizz trend to hit the app.
In case you’re late to the party, ‘rizz’ is TikTok speak for the ability to woo somebody online or irl using your smoothest game.
The viral trend has been circulating for a few months now, and now users have stepped up the rizz jokes with the addition of rizz pick-up lines, which have produced some pretty funny videos.
Here’s what you need to know about the rizz pick-up lines meme, along with some of our favorite examples.
TikTok’s funny rizz pick up lines explained
As you could have probably predicted, the new pick-up line trend sees TikTok users list some of their smoothest pick-up lines, except they differ slightly from the type of pick-up lines you might expect to hear normally.
The difference is that each pick-up line is associated with a different type of rizz.
For example, one user hit out with the line “Is our relationship Elsa / Because I can’t let u go”, followed by “(Frozen rizz)”, in a callback to the 2013 Disney movie.
“I love Ronaldo but I think we should get Messi”, was another pick-up line attempted by the same user, who described that example as “Sport Rizz”.
Rizz pick up lines take over
Despite the pick-up line trend having only started in recent days, it has quickly picked up speed and is one of the most popular running jokes on the site at the moment.

Where did the rizz meme come from
If this is the first you’re hearing about the rizz trend, you’re probably rather confused about where it all came from.
TikTok users first began to use the phrase around a year ago in spring 2022, and it is believed to have originated from Twitch streamer, Kai Cenat.
Since 2021, Cenat has been dedicating content towards the idea of rizz – and has multiple videos and clips online in which he can be heard talking about the best types of rizz to try out on people you’re trying to impress.
Now you know the history of rizz, it’s something you can keep in the back of your mind the next time you’re trying to be smooth – but it;s probably best not to try out any of TikTok’s pick-up lines.
