Slot took his Feyenoord side across Rotterdam on Sunday as they faced neighbours Excelsior away from home.
Feyenoord claimed yet another win as red-hot striker Santiago Gimenez continued his blistering form with a brace.
That win wasn’t just a nice derby day victory for Feyenoord.
The 2-0 win means Feyenoord have now racked up 11 Eredivisie wins in a row.
Even more impressive is that Feyenoord have gone 24 league games unbeaten now and ultimately have one hand on the Eredivisie title.
Feyenoord need to take just two points from their last three games to secure top spot and hand Slot an unexpected title.
Nobody thought Feyenoord would be in this position after selling the likes of Tyrell Malacia, Marcos Senesi, Fredrik Aursnes and Luis Sinisterra.
Slot has coached Feyenoord up into a truly superb team and whilst a move to Tottenham could be on the cards, he will be desperate to see out the job and get his hands on the league title.
