Bayern Munich are ready to sell midfielder Marcel Sabitzer for just £14.5million amid links with Tottenham Hotspur.

Marcel Sabitzer looks set to be on the move this summer amid claims Bayern Munich are ready to offload him.

That is according to Fabrizio Romano, who claims that Bayern are prepared to let Sabitzer leave this summer.

A deal worth around €15million to €17million (£13million to £14.5million) would allegedly be acceptable to Bayern.

Sabitzer’s loan deal with Manchester United has come to an end and it looks like the Red Devils won’t make the move permanent.

Hailed as a ‘machine’ by United teammate Diogo Dalot, Sabitzer played well for United but Erik ten Hag is looking elsewhere.

That leaves Bayern to chase a deal with another club and there may well be some Premier League interest.

The Daily Star reported in April that Aston Villa, Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham United were all keen on Sabitzer.

Villa have signed a midfielder Youri Tielemans but Tottenham and West Ham may still want another midfielder this summer…

Tottenham and West Ham could still be open for Marcel Sabitzer

West Ham are on the verge of selling star midfielder Declan Rice to Arsenal, with the Hammer seemingly chasing two signings there.

One player will come in as a defensive midfielder with another to arrive as more of a box-to-box player to try and replicate Rice’s qualities.

Sabitzer has excelled in a box-to-box role over the years, especially with RB Leipzig before his Bayern move became tricky.

The Austrian international showed enough quality at Manchester United to suggest that he could make an impact for West Ham, and that price seems like a bargain.

Tottenham have secured James Maddison but are now shifting to play a 4-3-3 under Ange Postecoglou.

Pierre-Emile Højbjerg seems to have no future at Spurs and his exit could pave the way for a new midfielder to come in.

Sabitzer could be proven competition for Rodrigo Bentancur once he’s back from injury, with options like Yves Bissouma and Oliver Skipp possibly better off a little deeper.

We would make West Ham a slightly more realistic destination than Tottenham right now, but that low asking price may tempt a few more clubs yet.
