In a united effort to bring Christopher home, the news was shared in an Instagram post announcing that Chris Rooney was missing and the issue had been reported to the police.
According to Headline Reporter, Christopher Rooney is a 35-year-old resident of Fredericksburg, VA who was last seen on 25 July 2023 at his residence on Main Street before going missing.
On 3 August 2023, an Instagram story post was shared on @theyeetbaby account, announcing he has been found safe:

and desperately search for information that could lead to his whereabouts.Prior to the announcement that he had been found, a concerned creator named @joysparkleshine explained the situation in a TikTok video whereby they broke down the details of his disappearance and his current life situation based on what has been shared on social media.
In response to someone asking if Chris Rooney is okay, a Reddit user named @yourfavoritek commented:
“I’m not sure how anyone would be ok with everything he’s gone through the past few months. Especially while being a public figure on TikTok. He really needs to get off TikTok and take some time to heal.”
Other replies shared concern that Rooney may be spiraling, some people also suggested it may be hard for him to distance himself from social media when it is supposedly his main source of income.
